The second Saturday of South by Southwest is a tiring one. The music festival attendees are exhausted from all the walking, the lines, the shows, the sing or rap-a-longs. Austin residents, myself included, are exhausted from all the conversations with friends in from out of town (a number of us have lost our voices), the questions about where to eat, and helping friends get into various shows.
The Dickies® Filter showcase wrapped up on Saturday at Lustre Pearl and there couldn’t have been a better place than Lustre Pearl to be to relax from all the hard work. The weather was more warm than hot, less humid than days previous, and the mood laid back to match the energy levels of the bar...
Had a great night tonight with unbelievable performances by The Big Pink, Built to Spill, and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah here at the Dickies event at SXSW.
It was a great day - we walked some of you guys in VIP, sporting your Dickies. Listened to some great music. Met some great customers. And had a lot of fun. Looking forward to our last big day out here in Austin tomorrow. Stay tuned for more updates!
We're wrapping up our afternoon line-up with a great set from The Drums. We've had an impressive turnout today - expecting a great crowd tonight.
